The Calendar (Main Screen)

The Calendar tab is your main screen. It shows the whole month, today's Efficiency Score and fish activity in a single view.

Main calendar screen
The Calendar — your monthly forecast at a glance.

What you'll see, top to bottom

  1. Today / Location: Tap "Today" to jump back to the current day. Tap the "Current GPS" button to change location.
  2. Monthly grid: Each day shows up to 5 colored dots — a quick summary of fishing potential.
  3. Today widget: Temperature, Efficiency Score gauge and moon phase.
  4. Fish activity curve: The green "BEST" bands mark the feeding peaks.
Pro tip: Scan the month for days with 5 green dots — those are your best fishing days.
2

Understanding the Efficiency Score

The Efficiency Score is a 0–100% rating of how good the day is for fishing at your location. It's calculated from solunar activity, weather, pressure, tides, moon phase and seasonal trends.

The three score bands

Excellent — Go fishing today
70–100%
Good — Worth a try
40–69%
Slow — Save it for another day
0–39%

The dots under each date

Every day in the monthly grid shows up to 5 dots:

  • 5 green dots — prime day, plan your trip
  • 3–4 mixed dots — good conditions
  • 1–2 yellow or red dots — slow day

Tap any day to load the full forecast, score, solunar curve, weather and tide data.

Why your score can change: Weather forecasts update throughout the day. Always check the app on the morning of your trip.

Solunar, Weather and Tides

Scroll down on the Calendar screen for the detailed forecast — the data that builds your Efficiency Score.

Solunar and weather details
Detailed forecast view.

Solunar curve (green and blue)

  • Green "BEST" peaks: Major feeding windows — usually 2 per day, about 2 hours each.
  • Small bumps: Minor windows.
  • Flat sections: Quiet periods.

Sunrise and sunset (yellow and white)

Yellow arc = the sun's path. White arc = the moon's path. The white boxes show sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset times.

Tide chart

The bottom curve shows tide height with high and low tide values. Most species feed best on a moving tide — look for the rising or falling sections.

The magic combination: Major solunar window + sunrise/sunset + tide change + stable weather = peak Efficiency Score.
